M.Tech
programme (Master of Technology)
A Master's degree in each of the
five specializations as in the five research groups can be obtained after
completion of the requirements by eligible and qualified candidates.
The following kinds of schemes are available.

Ph.D programme (Doctorate of Philosophy)
The
field of Electrical Engineering is very rich in terms of research areas and
opportunities. Motivated students are strongly encouraged to pursue research
during their Ph.D. For further information about application
procedures click here.
Until further notice, the Electrical Engineering Department will follow
the policy stated below for admissions to the M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes.
For admission to the M.Tech programme under the TAP/TA/SF/QIP categories,
there will be no interview of the candidates. For PS/PA/RA/Sponsored
categories, there will be a written test and/or interview.
For admission to the Ph.D. programme, a written test and/or interview
will be held on the announced dates.
B.Tech programme (Bachelor of Technology)
The B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering. Dual Degree (B.Tech
and M.Tech degrees)
The dual degree programme is currently offered
in two disciplines Communication and Signal Processing and Microelectronics
