ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:

Accommodation in Mumbai tends to be very expensive and getting a decent accommodation at affordable costs is a difficult task. IEDST 2009 has made arrangements at nearby guest houses and IIT student hostels to make your stay in Mumbai affordable and hassle-free.

IEDST 2009 will arrange bus transfers to and from the hotels/guest houses/hostels to the workshop venue on all days of the workshop.

Enough accommodation on single and shared basis is available in the students’ hostel at nominal rates. This would be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. Accommodation will be provided for two nights (31st May – 1st June) on payment of a fixed accommodation fee. There is no subsidy for a shorter stay.

Accommodation must be booked and paid for in advance, latest by May 15, 2009. As we have to pay in advance to book the accommodation, we request you to pay in advance. We will not be able to guarantee any kind of accommodation for on-site registrants.

Rates (per person):

Shared guest house accommodation (NITIE guest house)	Rs. 2,000 for 2 nights
(including taxes)

Furnished rooms at IIT Student hostels	Rs. 250 for 2 nights
(Available both on single and shared basis)

MTNL Guest House (including taxes):
AC single occupancy	Rs. 5,200 for 2 nights
AC double occupancy	Rs. 3,600 for 2 nights
Non AC single occupancy	Rs. 3,400 for 2 nights
Non AC double occupancy	Rs. 2,500 for 2 nights
