Title: Ultra wideband (UWB) communication

Abstract:

              Ultra wideband (UWB) communication is becoming a promising technique for transmitting signal with high bit rate within a short distance (up to 20 mt). It is targeted to provide a bit rate of 480 Mbps at distance up to 5 meters. Because of base band nature of UWB pulse, transmitter structure is simple with compared to other technique. As it can support high bit rate application UWB is becoming a strong candidate for Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN). In IEEE 802.15.3a and IEEE 802.15.4a UWB is seen as possible technique for communication.
