Title: Wireless Sensor Networks - Application for Precision Agriculture

Abstract:

         Networking together hundreds or thousands of cheap micro sensor nodes allows users to accurately monitor a remote environment by intelligently combining the data from the individual nodes. But there are significant problem to be overcome in order to realize this vision in working system. I am pursuing my research in the design and implementation of reactive, event driven network for precision agriculture and issues related with it. It concentrates on providing means for observing, accessing and controlling agriculture practices using wireless sensor networks.
