Abstract:

         Video Streaming applications and requirements are rapidly increasing. We are working developing an information theoretic cross layer criterion for optimized video streaming. We have developed it for a single hop transmission. We are working to expand it to multi-hop transmission and include the physical features that can be extracted from the videos into our information criteria.
