I was born and brought up in Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. I completed my schooling from Bhanubaktha Memorial Hihger Secondary School in 2003. With a National Rank of 10 (Board 10th), I was awarded with "Gorkha Brewery and Bhanubaktha Memorial Gold Medals". Ensuing, I did my Intermediate in Science from St. Xavier's College, one of the most revered colleges in Nepal, with flying colors.

I was amongst 35 students, who qualified to pursue their undergraduate degree in India under the full scholarship scheme. Consequently, I completed my B. Tech. (Electronics) from SVNIT, Surat with a CGPA of 9.92/10. I was the University and Department topper throughout the 8 semesters and hence recived the prestigious "Smt. Lakshmi Bala Majumdar Gold Medal ", "Siddhartha Gupta Gold Medal", "Institute Gold Medal" and "SVNIT Alumni Association Gold Medal".

Apart from academics, I had handled plethora of position of responsibilites. I was General Secretary of the Student Council, SVNIT and had organised and supervised superfluity of technical and cultural festivals, some of which are: SPARSH-2010, MINDBEND-2010, and AUTUMNFEST-2009 which were attended by thousands of people.

Immediately after the completion of undergraduate degree, I was called for an interview by the Department of Electrical Engineering, IITB. After a rigorous selection procedure, I was the only candidate selected as a Junior Research Fellows at TICET, TTSL, Department of Electrical Engineering, IITB. I have been researching in the field of wireless communications and cellular technology since 13^th July, 2010 and have worked on various projects, published couple of papers and also, am filing 2 patents.

I have strong penchant for sports, music and novel. I have played cricket and basketball on various school and college level competitions and have bagged prizes in some instances. Swimming, table-tennis, and football are also enlisted in my favorites.

I have always enjoyed reading novels. My favorites among them are:

I have an immense predilection towards music. The taste of my music is gamut, ranging from the genre of soft tracks to the one including heavy metals. I prefer listening to Green Day (Boulevard of broken Dreams, American Idiot), Metallica (Unforgiven series), Bryan Adams, Celion Dion, A. R. Rahman, MLTR, Nickelback, Creed etc.

I am peripatetic in nature. I love travelling new places and meeting new peoples. I have explored the colossal mountains of Nepal and have savored the natural beauty of the same. Mumbai, Darjelling, Sikkim, Ahembdabad, Surat, Chennai, Udayapur, Pune, Baroda etc. are the places I have traversed in India.
