5th Jan 2026:

• Venue for the regular class: now will be EEG002 (Gaitonde building, ground floor).

2nd Jan 2026:

• Quiz-1 (of weightage 8%) is scheduled on 12th Jan 2026 (time to be finalized in the class).
• Attendance is mandatory. Surprise quizzes will be used to measure 'class participation' and this has totally 7% weightage.
• Tutorial sheet 1 is available. Click here for all tutorial sheets of current semester. Also be sure to check the google-drive folder for tutorial sheets. (Always check both, and bookmark both: this page and the google-drive link.)

• Evaluation/weightages: Quiz-1: 8%, Midsem:25%, Quiz-2: 20%, Endsem: 40%, various surprise-quizzes total: 7%.
• Surprise quizzes are merely meant to discourage absenteeism. The surprise quizzes are not expected to need thorough preparation but just acquaintance of previous and this class content; nevertheless do study very regularly since the concepts build on one-another and missing a class or irregular preparation would generally cause difficulty in absorption of further concepts.
• Remember: each email from you about the course needs to have "EE613" in the subject. Please follow this and thus ensure that no email of yours gets missed by us. You can also strongly consider sending the email to all TAs of the course also.
• Also remember: for every quiz/exam/test, no sharing of calculators during the test. All tests/exams are closed book, closed notes, and no cheat-sheets. Academic malpractices would be dealt with severely and exactly as per the institute's norms: iitb-malpracticeswebpage
