The 1st COMmunications and NETworking Researchers' Meet (COMNET 2007) was held in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT-Bombay, on 2nd and 3rd July 2007. The essence of this meet was to provide a platform for research scholars to brainstorm on various topics (unlike a conference), with an aim to work jointly on research topics and projects. The workshop consisted of talks on recent research by research scholars (PhD students), keynote talks by professors and poster sessions. 20 researchers from IIT-Bombay, 13 researchers from IIT-Madras and 2 researchers from IIT-Delhi participated in the workshop.
