Abstract:

          Recent advancements in wireless communications and electronics leads to the development of tiny and low power electronic devices called sensor nodes. By using these sensor nodes in ad hoc manner we can form a sensor network. These sensor network can be used for various applications such as landmines, environmental, military, health, home. One of the application is the landslide prediction. We are using strain gauge as the basic sensor. We are working for solution to the some practical problems of strain gage while deployment and build the complete system for landslide prediction.
