2023
- Dec 2023:
- Priyanka Roy has joined us back as a post-doctoral fellow. Priyanka worked with our group in 2017-18 for M.Tech. thesis as external student. We are excited to have her back!
- Pankhi has moved on from our group. She worked with us for one and a half years and played a crucial role in many projects. With a heavy heart, we bid goodbye and wish her the very best!
- We presented iPEC at NDE 2023 conference in Pune. We look forward to showcasing our technology outcomes at many more such events.
- Oct 2023: ST has accepted an invitation to serve on the Board of Studies for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT)

- AIMS Lab welcomes several new members to the team! Pranoti More, Krutheeka R K J and Anubhav Bhatla have joined for pursuing their B.Tech. projects, and Akshata Koshti and Darshan Sinnarkar have joined for pursuing their supervised research exposition (seminar) projects. Aditya Sriram has joined for pursuing R&D project.

- April 2023: Three papers accepted for presentation at 2023 IFCS-EFTF conference. Congratulations to Sheetal, Pankhi, Aparajita and all co-authors! ST will be presenting a tutorial at the conference.
- March 2023:
- We have moved our SHM and embedded sensor systems activities to our new lab space (Cyber-Physical Systems Lab, 3rd floor, EE Department). This lab space is shared with Prof. Laxmeesha Somappa‘s group. We look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration!
- We welcome Hardik Ghoshal to the team! Hardik is working with us on his M.Sc. project (external student).

- Dec 2022: Maria D’costa (earlier working with us as intern) is back with us for her external M.Sc. project. Maria is pursuing her M.Sc. in Biomedical Genetics at Vellore Institute of Technology.

- Our recent work on PCB sensors for SARS-CoV-2 nucleotide detection in wastewater has received extensive press coverage: Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Hindu, New Indian Express, The Wire Science, Economic Times, Tribune India, News18, India Today, Outlook India, Financial Express, Livemint, Biospectrum India, NDTV, Phys.org and various other outlets. Our work was also tweeted by Ministry of Education and Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Education, Government of India.
