EE 309: Microprocessor Laboratory

Preliminaries

There are two parts to this laboratory.

In the first part, you will familiarize yourself with the Microprocessor kit and also assembly/machine level programming of the microprocessor and the kit. To write the programs an 8085 Assembler and Instruction set simulator are being made available to you for use on the lab machines. You can also copy the software and use it from elsewhere.

In the second part, you will be working on the hardware of the 8085 and interfacing peripherals to the microprocessor. Last you will be introduced to Microcontrollers.
