The general context of the talk is about design, optimization, and characterization of radio-frequencies circuits. Details of development of an iterative solver of electromagnetic wave scattering problems in RF circuits using WCIP (Wave Concept Iterative Process) method will be elaborated. The talk mainly focuses on numerical techniques for simulation and characterization of RF circuits.
The speaker received Master of Science in Analysis and Digital Processing of the Electronic Systems from University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia. The project work dealt with implementation of perfectly matched layers (PMLs) in frequency domain transmission line matrix (FDTLM) method. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Electronics (June 2011, University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia) for his contributions in development of numerical methods for simulation of compact microwave electronic circuits. Substrate-integrated-waveguide (SIW) technology has been extensively studied. Dr. Hajri has rich experience and expertise in Embedded System applications, Real-Time Operating System RTOS, and Linux/Unix systems.
