This talk will highlight masters and doctoral programs in Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) and also provide details about the masters and doctoral programs in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering. Some specifics of the admission and selection process will also be discussed. ASU is the largest public university in the U.S. and has around 87,000 students.
Prof. Vijay Vittal is the Ira A. Fulton Chaired Professer in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. He is the director of Power System Engineering Research Center, headquartered at ASU. From 1993 to 1994, he served as the program director of power systems for the NSF Division of Electrical and Communication Systems in Washington, D.C. He was the editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems from 2005 to 2011. Vittal has published 161 articles in refereed journals, 133 refereed conference proceeding articles, twelve books and book chapters, and 13 research and technical reports. He is an IEEE fellow as well as a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
