The speaker will talk about the Aura semi start-up journey, the core values and how to start, maintain and flourish a high performance start-up in the technology space. The talk is also about what to expect in a start-up and how to stay patient. Following which he will give a technical talk on the Bluetooth Smart Radio Architecture and Design. This will include details on the Bluetooth low energy standard and the key choices for designing the receive, transmit and synthesizer RF subsystems. He will also briefly touch upon the technical challenges related to high performance synthesizers which are at the core of Aura's timing products.
Srinath serves as CEO of Aura and helps set the direction of the company and overall business strategy at Aura Semiconductor. He has held senior engineering positions in RF IC design with Motorola (USA), Silicon Labs (USA), NXP and ST Ericsson. He has a passion for customer and market focused product development and has taken multiple products from initial definition to successful customer design with a majority of them being in the cellular market. He has an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA and a B.Tech degree from IIT Madras, India. Srinath has 8 patents.
