A balanced state of our hormones keeps us vibrant, healthy and disease free. A lifestyle that takes us away from traditional foods and eating patterns, and towards more processed foods and diet fads and lesser physical activity and exercise disrupt the state of balance crucial for our health. This is augmented by compromised sleep which interferes with our recovery from day to day stresses. Adopting simple, common-sensical and sustainable strategies on food, exercise and recovery will ensure hormonal harmony within the body and will lead to a fitter, disease-free life.
