At the system level, different stages in the path from the transducer to the load don&#8217;t uniformly contribute to the power consumption. Technology and cost constraints are the factors which limit uniform minimization of power consumption across various stages. Therefore, ultra low power techniques for the gradual accumulation and storage, energy release to the load and MPPT (maximum power point tracking) are on demand.
