The tutorial topics that are being offered at the NCC-2002 are as follows:

 

 

Morning Sessions (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)     

1.    Microstrip Antenna (MSA): (1/2 day)

        by     Prof. Girish Kumar, IIT-B, Mumbai

2.    Speech Recognition: (1/2 day)

        by     Prof. Hema A. Murthy, IIT-M, Chennai

3.    Wireless Data Networking: GPRS AND WCDMA: (1/2 day)

         by     Prof. A. Chockalingam, IISc, Bangalore

 

 

Afternoon Sessions (1:30 pm - 4:30 pm)    

1.    MPLS: (1/2 day)

         by     Prof. Abhay Karandikar, IIT-B, Mumbai

2.    Quality Enhancement in Packetized Voice Communication: (1/2 day)

         by     Dr. Aloknath De, Hughes Software Systems, Gurgaon

3.    Digital Signatures: (1/2 day)

         by     Prof. T.S. Lamba, IIT-Kgp, Kharagpur

 

 

    The tutorials would be held on Jan. 25, 2002 in the morning and afternoon slots. Three tutorials will be held in parallel in each session.  The registration* fees are Rs. 1000 for one course (1/2-day course) or Rs. 1500 for two-courses. Additional discount of Rs. 500 is applied to the fees if the person is registering for 2 tutorials and the main conference together.
