EQUIPMENTS:

• HV test transformer
• Measuring capacitor
• Coupling capacitor
• DSM Peak Voltmeter
• DTM Partial discharge meter
• AKV Coupling quadripole
• PDG pulse generator
• Discharge rod
• HV flexible connector
• Series filter
• Electronic grounding switch
• Electrode
• Spectrum Analyzer (with FSH view software)
• Pre-amplifier
• UHF Antenna

ELECTRODE CONFIGURATION

• Point-plane gap
• Sphere gap
• Rod-sphere gap

PROCEDURE:

• Check earthing properly before starting the experiment.
• Run 1: Determine the correction factor of the circuit as mentioned before.
• Run 2: For UHF test on AC test setup, connect the circuit as described as Experiment No. 1.
• Run 3: Place the UHF antenna as shown in schematic diagram and perform the experiment.
• Run 4: For UHF test on DC test setup, connect the circuit as described as Experiment No. 2 and follow the procedure as mentioned in Run 3.
• After capturing the UHF signal, connect the spectrum analyzer to the PC and using FSH view software extract the spectrums from it.

EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS:

List out all the spectrum captured by spectrum analyzer and make a comparison among them.
