PAPER SUBMISSION

Authors are requested to submit a 2-page abstract of their previously unpublished work (including figures) on or before October 15, 2005. The abstracts should be submitted by email to imaps@ee.iitb.ac.in.   Acceptance letters will be posted to the respective authors by November 1, 2005. The final Drafts of Papers Accepted for presentation need to be submitted in "Camera Ready" Format by November 15, 2005.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING THE FINAL PAPER

1) The paper Camera Ready documents should be Printed on a) single side , b) on A-4 size, White Bond paper c) Using Laser Printer
2) Margins: 25 mm margin on all sides (Top, Bottom, Left and Right)
3) MS Word Document with Single line spacing, and Font: Times New Roman, with page numbers preferably written by pencil at the Right-Bottom Corner as well as behind each Sheet.
4) Font Sizes: Paper Heading (Main Title): 20 Bold & Centered. Authors: 12 & Centered. Authors Address: 10 & Centered.
5) Topic and Subtopic Headings, Fig., Table Headings etc. should be properly numbered in seriatum (e.g. Abstract, 1. Introduction, 2. Experimental, 3. Results, --- n. References etc.) and printed in size 11 & Bold.  Main Body of the Text in Size 10 & Normal and Align Justified( both sides) Any "High lighting Words or Phrases" may be in italics.
6) The Author(s) name, designation and Organizational address (phone, email ids, if any) should be mentioned below the Main Title.
7) All Diagrams, Figures and Tables etc. are to be properly indexed and preferably located in the text, nearest to their First quotation or descriptions (in Text).
8) References should be clearly indicated in Square Brackets"[1-10] in the body of the text.
9) List of the references should be presented at the end of the text. The Recommended Style is:
a) "Title of the paper", Authors, Journal, Vol., Issue, (Year) pp.
b) "Title of the paper", Authors, Proc. of Conf. , Seminar Title, Organizers (e.g. IMAPS India or IEEE ED etc.). Place of the Conf.( New York, USA),  (Year) pp.
c) "Title of the Book", Authors, Publishers, Edition, Reprint no. if any, pp.
The Authors are requested to adhere to this style as far as possible.
10)  Maximum length of the "Contributed Paper" is limited to 6 pages.
11) One hard copy of the paper should be submitted along with a soft copy in 3.5" inch floppy.

12) A brief Bio-data of the Authors, not exceeding 200 words, should be enclosed with the papers.
13) Papers are accepted for publication of the understanding that they have not been submitted to any other publishers. The Copy right of the accepted papers would become the property of IMAPS  India Chapter, Bangalore. Reproduction of any part of the paper elsewhere is not allowed without the written permission of the "IMAPS India Chapter" Authors are, therefore, required to submit a signed declaration to this effect while submitting their papers in a Standard Format which will be made available on a URL and will also be mailed along with
the Abstract Acceptance Correspondence.
