Academic Projects

  • M.Tech Project: Design of Reliable High-speed Sensing Circuit for Multilevel Flash Memory.
    Guide: Prof. Prakash R. Apte, Duration: Ongoing.

    Description: The objective of the project is to design a reliable sensing circuit to reduce the sensing time of multilevel flash memory. The main constraints associated with the multilevel flash memory are high sense margin, which is required to reliably sense the data of multilevel flash cell and high speed modules of sensing circuit. The development of whole project is based on the implementation of spice model of flash memory(SPICE) and designing of different modules (CADENCE) with suitable sensing scheme.

  • B.E. Project: Laser Torch Based Voice Communication.
    Guide: Lect. Jharna Agarwal, Duration: Jan2005-May2005.

    Description: The objective of the project was to build a circuit for voice transmission and reception over one place to another place with the help of LASER torch.The voice was modulated over the LASER Torch with the distance of 10 meters.

    Design of controller of an 8-bit Microprocessor in SPICE, MAGIC and VHDL.

  • Design of FPGA Based Printer Switch: Embedded System Design course project.

    Design of an FPGA based switch that schedules the use of one shared resource (Printer) between four independent computers strictly on the first come first serve basis.

  • System Design: Designed a system to read 128 numbers(2 bit) and find out the most occuring number among them.

    Design of a complete expression evaluation system in VHDL, which takes the input expression from a text file and stores the evaluated output in another text file.

  • Boiler Controller and Alarm System: B. E. Minor project

    Design a circuit to control the boiler temperature to not exceed of 125 degree centigrade with an alarm indication and password security system.

  • FMEA and Markov Model of Power System: RE LAB project

    Development and analysis of Markov model for reliability and availability calculation of power system. Cut-Set analysis and verification using FMEA.. in RELEX.

  • Redundant System Analysis: RED Course project

    Availability and Reliability analysis of automated and manual redundant system using RELEX.
