Ashwin A. Tulapurkar is working as a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Bombay. He completed his B-Tech from IIT Bombay  in Engineering Physics and Ph.D. from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research(TIFR) Bombay in 1992 and 1999 respectively. His research interest are Spintronics, Quantum Physics of Nano scale Devices, Spin Torques, Spin based oscillators, Noise and Thermoelectric Effects.
