Technologies/Products Developed

  • A low bit rate (1.5 kbps) speech codec: algorithm has been developed, C-source code verified, and a DSP implementation is underway. A patent has been filed for a new algorithmic technique related to efficient parameter quantization.
    Patent filed: “Method and Apparatus for the Encoding and Decoding of Speech at Bit rates below 2 kbps”, March 2003, Indian Patent Office, Mumbai.
