Our Department website is maintained by System Administrators at the Electrical Engineering Department as a part of sysad team I worked on PHP, AJAX, javascript, HTML etc., in MVC framework. I have also worked on Department dashboard portal, which is used in our Department for several purposes. Apart from these, I have developed portals to automate admission process for conducting PhD candidate selection Interviews.
To automate several tasks which are required for the department, I have also used selenium , Jinja templating engine, bash scripting etc., During my stay at Infosys, I have worked on SQL, python and ORACLE PeopleSoft (ERM). By working on all these I have gained some knowledge about all of them and would like learn much more.
I have mostly worked on C++, Octave and Python for my academic purposes. As a part of academic curriculum we do assignments, projects etc for the courses we register, many of the assignments or projects include simulations, designing etc., I have used Octave and python for assignments, course projects and M.tech project. I used C++ to work on my seminar which involved in analysing Pilot contamination in multi-cell secenario when non-orthogonal pilots are used to estimate channel.
I work as a System Administrator for the Electrical Engineering Department IITB. My work as System Administrator includes maintaining websites related to the department,maintaining PC Lab, assisting in admission processes by automating repeated tasks and developing portals required for conducting interviews etc.
IIT Bombay has around 16 hostels, each hostel has its own governing body, members of which are elected by the students of same hostel. Hostel-1 has around 300 students and the mess budget for every month runs around 9 lakhs approximately, As a mess Secretary i assisted my councilor in verifying bills, accounting inventory, managing mess menu, co-ordinating with mess staff etc.
Post Graduate Academic council is an Institute level council which helps in addressing the grievances of Post Graduate students. As web Nominee at PGAC, I was part of making a new web page for the council. PGAC new website can be found here
