Personal
- Theatre: I had the good fortune of being a part of the Banjara theatre troupe at IIT Kharagpur with Rashi Bunny. At the University of Southern California, I was a founding member of Vidushak, an improv theatre troupe. At TIFR, I started another improv group, The Institute of Fun. For a while, I was part of the ensemble cast of Improv Comedy Mumbai.
- I am a fan of the British humorist P. G. Wodehouse. This one time, I started a Wodehouse society at USC. At our first meeting, things did not quite go according to plan.
- My brother Nikhil Gopalkrishnan is currently a Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute in the Harvard Medical School.
- My other interests include writing and performing poetry, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and dancing Lindy Hop.
- I have been making my own shoes from discarded bicycle tyres, following these instructions from Instructables. They are very good for long-distance running.
