I am Professor in Electrical Engineering Department  at IIT Bombay (from Oct. 2001)

I was earlier (1971-2001) working as a scientist   Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

My current interest : MEMS - Design, Layout, Mask-making, Fabrication, Packaging, Testing, Reliability etc.

My main field of interest has been Silicon IC technology and Now it is MEMS. I was a member of the team that made the first TTL IC in India in 1972. Since then, I have more than 20 years experience in MOS/Bipolar IC design and fabrication. I have worked at Stanford IC labs for  2 years (1977-78) as a visiting research associate.
