We are conducting a CEP workshop on “5G and Beyond: Looking over Horizon” from 4-8 December 2023. The workshop will provide a solid foundation to
the core concepts of the 5G system and outline its evolution towards 6G. A highlight of the program is its excellent blend between practice and theory,
with elaboration of both 5G/6G specifications as developed by the global standards bodies such as ITU, 3GPP, IEEE, TSDSI and the underlying fundamental
concepts. We expect participation from industry, government officials, faculty from academia and students.

The Department Alumni and Corporate Engagement (EEACE) cell is organizing a day-long guided Lab Tour for local alumni, and their families on Saturday 24th June 2023 in association with the IITB Alumni Mumbai Chapter.

In a concerted effort to build sustained Department engagement with local alumni, the EE ACE team is collaborating for the first time with the Mumbai Chapter of IITB alumni. The Mumbai chapter has also organized a Wellness talk by alumnus Dr. Shreya Agrawal, Phd in Nanotechnology, slated for the afternoon to wrap up the Tour for alums, faculty and students alike.

We also seek to highlight the latest research and encourage faculty and students to interact with local alumni in a pop-up Exhibition on the Ground Floor of the GG Building during the day.

The guided tour is based on the success of several Lab Tours undertaken through ACE and positive student-alumni interactions with upto 10 alumni batches last year.
