Facilities
Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and testbeds to
support cutting-edge research in wireless communications, 5G networks, and advanced RF/microwave
systems.
Equipments
-
Vector Signal Generator, SMW200A
High-performance generator for complex modulated signals, ideal for wireless and radar testing.
-
Spectrum Analyzer, FSH8
Rugged, portable analyzer with high sensitivity, tracking generator, VSWR/cable/antenna tests, and support for RF measurements in lab and field environments.
-
Signal Analyzer
High-performance analyzer with wideband signal capture, low phase noise, and support for analog/digital modulation and RF system testing
-
Oscilloscope, RTO 1012
1 GHz, 2-channel real-time oscilloscope with 10 GS/s sampling, high waveform update rate, digital triggering and advanced analysis functions.
-
Channel Emulator
A sophisticated wireless propagation emulator that replicates real-world multipath, fading, Doppler, and MIMO channel conditions in the lab. Used for testing wireless systems (LTE, WiFi, 5G, etc.) under controlled, repeatable channel environments.
Experimental Testbed
-
5G Testbed: WLAN Interworking with 5G Core
The testbed developed as part of the 'Indigenous 5G Testbed Project' encompasses, Release 15 complaint Non-3GPP Interworking Function (N3IWF) integrated with 5G Core . Release 15 complaint Non-3GPP UE communicates over Wi-Fi with the 5G Core.
-
5G Testbed: 5G NR UE/gNB integration with 5G Core
This testbed encompasses, COTS 5G UEs integrated with a Release 15 complaint gNB and Open5GS Core. The gNB consists of MARUT Radio Unit (RU), gNB-DU and gNB-CU.
