Electronics Club
"Electronics Club", housed in Wadhwani Lab, provides a springboard for anyone who is interested in building circuits/systems, from basic to advanced. Its mandate is to encourage tinkering among students. Over the years, this activity has picked up substantially and has now become a self-sustaining activity in the sense that senior students now come forward and volunteer to mentor their juniors, hold introductory hands-on sessions (called "Electrified") which cover microcontrollers, CPLD, image processing, etc. With this knowledge base, many students take up projects in their summer break. Some of the recently conducted sessions:
- basic components and instruments
- Techfest session (robotics)
- AM radio
- Arduino coding and sensor concepts
- LTSpsice simulator
- line follower competition
