The Wadhwani Electronics Lab hosts an active summer internship programme for students from IITB and other engineering colleges. The interns typically spend 10 to 12 weeks in the lab and contribute to R and D activities under the supervision of lab staff and faculty. They acquire valuable hands-on experience in this period in various areas such as low-cost microcontroller and CPLD board deveopment, preparing Java applets, etc. Summer inters have contributed significantly to the Virtual Labs project "e-Prayog" (sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development) which has been carried out in the Wadhwani lab.
