Technical Feasibility of TV White Space Operation in India (2015)
o Deployed the first TV White Space test-bed in seven villages of Palghar district in Maharashtra. Please find the details here .
o Developed a prototype for UHF TV band operation.
o Integrated the UHF TV band prototype with OpenPAWS, a TVWS database query system.
o Currently working in the deployment of 25 villages in Palghar District, Maharashtra funded by TATA TRUSTS.
o Developed a computation tool in MATLAB to estimate the available TV White Space in India.
o Set up a test-bed network within IIT Bombay campus using TV White Space as backhaul.
