Sponsored and consultancy projects are undertaken through the Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre (IRCC) of IIT Bombay. Sponsored projects are typically funded by government agencies, and involve activities leading to the development of core technological competence within the country. Industrial consultancy projects in the Power Electronics and Power Systems Group usually assist private companies in the development of specific products and services.
