1. EE6107:
IC Design for Wireless Transceivers - Fall 2024:
Modules:
(1) Review of RF impairments- noise/distortion,
(2) Si-based devices
in SiGe/CMOS and Si-based passives,
(3) Transmission lines and Smith Chart,
matching networks, S-parameters,
(4) Two-port network theory,
and applications to mm-wave amplifier design (stability/noise),
(5) Introduction to Phased-arrays and
multi-antenna systems,
(6) Phased-array transceiver building blocks: phase-shifters/vector-modulators, quadrature hybrids,
coupled-resonators, variable-gain amplifiers, couplers/power-dividers,
(7) Complex I/Q signal processing, modern RF architectures to enable image rejection, advanced
filtering etc.
I am currently looking for motivated PhD and MTech (Research) students to join my group. If
the prospect of designing and testing complex high-frequency circuits excites you, you may consider applying
to the PG/PhD programs at IITB.
You may also send your CV to me at rahuls[AT]ee.iitb.ac.in. Candidates
are expected to have good academic standing and a strong inclination to design, build and prototype
analog/RF circuits/subsystems.
(PhD EE IITB)(Mtech EE IITB)
I am currently recruiting for the following PhD/MTech(Research) positions:
I am unable to offer direct internships to undergraduate students outside IITB. I am also
unable to reply to non-specific email requests for internships. If you want
to apply for internships officially through IITB, please have a look here:
