Rules & Regulations
Do's and Dont's
- All users are requested to book the slots beforehand.
- Kindly keep your footwears in the rack provided.
- Enter the details of your measurement in the system log book everytime you use the setup.
- Do not change the connections without informing the setup incharge.
- Water bottles and eatables are to be strictly kept outside the lab.
- Do not remove monitors/keyboards/mouse or any other computer accessory from the setups/PCs.
- Keep your wafers in designated places, any wafer found lying in the lab will be thrown away in the dustbin without any warning.
- Do not alter the air-conditioner settings (temperature/mode) as an ambient temperature of 25 degree celsius is to be maintained since all the further calculations are and analysis is done using this temperature.
- DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING. If you need any informations/details regarding usage of the setup, please contact lab RAs or setup incharge.
General Setup Guidelines
- Temperature dependent Stress IV measurements are to be done on the Polaris Setup.
- Temperature dependent normal CV/IV measurements and Stress IV/CV measurements (for flash memory users mainly) are to be done on the Phoenix Setup.
- CV/IV measurements (through chuck &/or top contact) to be done on Phoenix, Proxima & Vega (for 2,3 & 4 terminal measurements).
- Pulse Measurements can be done in Phoenix & Polaris Setup
- Measurements of all types of Organic Electronic devices to be done on Cygnus
Slot booking Instructions
- Slots can be booked online by visiting http://www.cen.iitb.ac.in/slotbooking/
- Slots can be booked only two days (48 hours) in advance.
- One can use more than allotted number of hours, if and only if the setup is free.
- The penalty for no turn up (after 15 mins from start of slot) is loss of slot. If more than 2 such slots are not used without notice- then user privileges will be be revoked.
- User on whose name the slot is booked has to be present in the lab.
- Put your name, mobile number and what measurement you are doing during slot booking.
- For Phoenix, Proxima, Vega Setups & Cygnus :
Maximum 7 hours per day, 49 hours per week - For Polaris Setup :
Maximum 8 hours per day, 56 hours a week - Long Stress Measurements (more than 8 hours) can only be done on weekends
- INUP Slots :
By default 2:30 to 5:30 PM is reserved for INUP users on weekdays on Phoenix (for temperature dependent only), & Vega setup. Other users can book the slots iff there are no INUP users on that day.
Users are requested not to misuse and also be vigilant about the slot mis-usage
