High Power
Microwaves and RADAR
Empowered with the
high performance computing facility and the powerful 3D EM
simulator
ANSOFT®
HFSS, active research is being pursued in the areas of
High Power Microwave sources. Generalised Scattering Matrix (GSM)
analysis of microwave devices is also being done in the lab.
HFSS simulation, design and fabrication, cold test of Filter
loaded and EIK broadband Klystron circuits has been recently
completed.

Research is also being
pursued on RF power and delivery system for driving Linear
Accelerators. Research is also being carried out in the area
of RADAR systems.
