Work Experience

He has been with the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Bombay since December, 1998, where he is currently a Professor. He was the Associate Dean, Infrastructure, Planning and Support of the institute from November, 2011 to January 5, 2015. He was the Organizing Vice-Chairman of IIT Joint Entrance Examination in the year 2007, and was the Chairman, GATE 2017. He was the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Bombay from January, 2021 to January, 2024.
