Guidance & Support
Students are advised by a faculty advisor (FacAd) for their year of admission. DUGC and other bodies can be approached for special support needs. Students lagging academically are encouraged to opt for reduced coursework.

B.Tech students not pursuing summer courses can opt for summer internships during the first three summer vacations. Students usually participate in placement activities organised by IITB towards the end of their second-last semester.

Credits for courses successfully completed at other universities can be transferred towards the EE degree with the approval of the faculty advisor, who will examine equivalence with courses offered at IITB.
