Accommodation in Mumbai tends to be expensive and in great demand throughout the year and getting a decent accommodation at affordable costs is a very difficult task. ICEE 2012 has made special arrangements for various accommodation options in the vicinity at discounted rates. These will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. To avail these rates, the reservations must be done through the form given below following the procedures outlined in this document.

Accommodation will be provided for 4 nights (14-17 Dec 2012). In the student hostels, accommodation would be provided on payment of a fixed accommodation fee. There is no subsidy for staying for a shorter number of nights.

ICEE will arrange bus transfers to and from the conference venue on all days of the conference from the designated hotels/guest houses mentioned below. For registrations received after November 15, the organizing committee may still help delegates find accommodation at the best possible rates in the hotels. However, the discounted rates mentioned below cannot be guaranteed.

The accommodation fees can be paid as described below (DD/Electronic Fund Transfer/Cheque). Accommodation Categories:

(For Type A and Type B accommodation options listed below, IIT Bombay conference secretariat shall directly make the bookings. For Type C option (hotels around the IIT Bombay campus), the reservations will be done by M/S. Rush Me Travels, the official travel agent for the conference.)

TYPE A: HOSTELS (Inside the IITB campus)

Students/others: Rs. 1000/- (for four nights) (per person on a sharing basis)

TYPE B: MTNL GUEST HOUSE (outside IIT Bombay campus)(including taxes)

Payment Instructions:

Full payment of accommodation fees should be made before Nov 15, 2012. In case of cancellation of guest house accommodation, single night charges would be retained and the rest of the amount refunded, provided intimation is given at least a week before the commencement of the event. We offer the following choices for payment of accommodation charges.
