Programming and computation in MATLAB and SCILAB. Design of control systems and their simulation using software tools. Implementation of algorithms for multivariable systems for pole placement, observer design, stability computations, factorizations, solutions of Lyapunov and Ricatti equations, realizations, balancing. Use of algorithms for multivariable time series modeling.
