Dr. Siddhartha Prakash Duttagupta obtained B.Tech. (Honours) from IIT Kharagpur and Ph.D. from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. He is presently Professor in Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. The principal research areas include terahertz components, micro energy converters, and solar powered aerostats. Dr Duttagupta holds five US patents and six Indian Patents in Micro/Nano-scale Transducers and in Green Power Circuits and Systems. He has authored five monographs on platform technologies in Fuel Cells, Body Area Sensing, Non-Uniform Image Mapping, and Precision Cooling. The impact of 182 publications is reflected in 6488 citations (ref. Google Scholar) including six publications with 100 or more citations. The R&D activity at IIT Bombay has been sponsored by organizations such as the DST (SERB), AGV Micro Systems, AOARD (USA), DBT (India), Nipro (Japan), and Tata Consultancy Services (India).
