I am Sumit Khalapure. I have done my bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunication at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur. I have done my MTech in VLSI at NIT Goa. Currently, I am doing my Ph.D. with Prof. Rajesh Zele. I have learned core analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs in the first-year courses. I am working on high-performance ADCs for a variety of RF receiver applications. As a part of the aiCAS lab, I enjoy working in a team where I discuss new ideas and circuit analysis. These discussions help me to learn more designs such as AI/ML circuits, high-performance DACs, mmWave designs, RF transceivers, digital circuits, and RF printed circuit boards. The teaching assistantship in online mode became a learning experience to work with software like OBS for recording and editing tutorial, SAFE for conducting exams and evaluation, MS Teams for class discussions, and CodeTantra for remote proctoring. The engagement with department students through the Students’ Reading Group (SRG) gave me insight into other lab research.
